This page lists the payment methods we accept on sci-lighting.com and explains how and when you are charged.
1. Accepted payment methods

The methods available for your order are shown at checkout. You can check out as a guest; you do not need an account.
We do not accept cash, checks, money orders, bank transfers or cryptocurrency.
2. Currency and price
All prices are in US dollars (USD). The total shown at checkout, before you confirm your payment, includes the price of the items, the shipping fee (if any) and sales tax where it applies. You are not charged any other fee by us. If your card was issued outside the United States, your bank may add a foreign transaction fee.
3. When you are charged
Your payment is authorized and charged when you place your order. If an item cannot be shipped, or if you cancel your order before it ships, we refund the full amount to the payment method you used.
4. Payment security
Checkout is hosted by Shopify and protected by encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Card payments are processed by PCI DSS compliant payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay payments are processed by those providers under their own terms.
5. Declined payments
If your payment is declined, please check your card details and billing address, or try another payment method. Your bank can tell you why a payment was declined. We may cancel and refund orders that our payment provider flags as possibly fraudulent.
6. Refunds
Refunds go back to the original payment method. After we issue a refund, it can take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Billing questions
If you see a charge you do not recognize, or have any billing question, please contact us before you open a dispute with your bank. We can usually resolve it quickly.
